In this movie you can see Jake as the guy Agnus, and this guy does everything his mother asks him to do, like kill people. He and his brother kill their stepfather, and now she asked them to kill his lover. Dorian (Luke Wilson) wants to marry her and Agnus want to kill her (Drew Barrymore) Dorian and Agnus works at the Army, but Dorian has to take a job so they know for sure that nobody knows that it was they who killed their stepfather. You can see in the movie that Luke and Jake fly's a helicopter, and they do it for real to, no stunts or anything. A strange but cool movie, its great and Jake is really super!!! This is a movie everybody should see!!!
One of Jakes other passions are flying a helicopter, he is a licensed helicopter pilot. "Flying one," he says, "is like balancing a bowling ball on a needle." "But there's nothing better than being in a Cobra doing low-level hell." He spends several days a month flying. In Home Fries you can see Jake and Luke Wilson fly that helicopter for real, its nothing like stuns or anything."I'm an only child, so I had to learn about how to be rude and callous. Apparently, that's how siblings treat each other. It came as quite a surprise to me." "Drew saw my picture in Details magazine and told director Dean Parisot he should audition me. That's how I got the role." the real bonus for Jake that he actually got to fly the helicopter in the film, as I have write before…. "I'm licensed to fly small craft, so the producers were able to make special concessions for me to pilot the helicopter in Home Fries. Once you've been up in a Cobra Attack Helicopter, an amusement park never holds the same allure. It was really exciting." Vince Gilligan: This movie was a long time coming. It never would have been made without Mark. I had to push it through for 10 solid years. I was very pleased with the results. It was worth the wait for me. Jake Busey: I'm really glad it took so long. Because if they hadn't waited I would have been 15 years old. And I don't think it would have worked out. Luke Wilson on working with Jake and the preparation for his role: We had a great time as brothers. We got to be really good friends. We rode to work together everyday. We'd fight over the radio. We had a great time working together. We just spent a lot of time together and got to know each other. And that helped us on screen. On Busey's audition, Parisot notes, "Jake stretched the character of Angus into some deeply disturbing places. That is just what we were aiming for."
