STATE ORGANIZATIONS
FCCPSA ~ Florida Coalition of Christian Private School Administrators
This is a statewide support group for ALL Christian homeschoolers . Their specialty area is in assisting and training homeschoolers 1) to establish a private school, 2) administrate a private school, and 3) to help a homeschooler find a private school in which to enroll. FCCPSA also provides accreditation to qualified private schools for homeschoolers. The leaders of this organization are seasoned homeschool veterans, some of whom helped to write the Florida homeschool laws and create and serve on the beginning FPEA board. They lobby and represent private school and Christian homeschoolers in Tallahassee and Washington, D.C. El Shaddai Ministries is a member of FCCPSA.

CHEF ~ Christian Home Educators of Florida
CHEF was birthed from FCCPSA but is a separate statewide organization for all Christian homeschool families. While FCCPSA focuses on private school administrators for homeschoolers, CHEF focuses on serving Christian families in Florida who choose to homeschool through the county or a private schools. CHEF has workshops, curriculum fairs, and a newsletter. Fee is normally $20/yr. Families enrolled with El Shaddai Ministries are eligible for a discount rate of $15/yr. Send a separate check for $15 to ESM when enrolling.

FPEA ~ Florida Parent Educators Association
This state organization is for ALL homeschoolers in the state of Florida. In the past FPEA has been predominately support for county homeschoolers. However, they are now vocal in the support of private homeschools. FPEA has an annual statewide convention in which 6,000+ homeschoolers come to buy curriculum and attend workshops in Orlando. They have district representatives to assist homeschoolers, publish a newsletter and a Guide to Homeschooling online. Fee is normally $25/yr. Families enrolled with El Shaddai Ministries are eligible for a discount rate of $15/yr. FPEA members are also eligible for a $15 discount off HSLDA membership of $100 for a fee of $85. Send a separate check for $15 to ESM when enrolling. If you were a previous member of FPEA also send us your ID#.
