USS Ohio
Lt.Cmdr. Tiornu ducked again as another bomb fell onto the ship.This time it knocked out a 40 mm position and injured those who were'nt killed with shrapnel.He stood back up next to Captain Abe Simpson Sen.,who was standing his ground,with his pig leg and real one.Tiornu remebered what happened to the pain in the war's ass.Simpson had been a Commander on the ill-fated USS. Omaha when the Gneseniau and Wilhelmshaven attacked a convoy his ship was escorting a convoy to the Ruskies. Simpson had thought they were being attacked by enemy planes and fire into the sky,thus, the light cruiser went under the mediterranian waters while an ensign kept Tiornu's commander alive when blood was gushing out of the bloody stump that was Abe's leg.HMS Warspite picked them up and other survivors.Now,Captain Simpson was ordering straight speed and to fire to port."But,sir."the nervous teen questioned."We're under air attack and our flag's that way!!!!"The old man turned to face the junior officer with a dark gleam from his ''sunglasses'' and shouted him "Are you questioning my autority, commander??!?!!?!?!Because if you are,You might as well haul your ass into a lift raft and start paddling back to Missouri, momma's boy!!!!Never ask me a dumb ass question like that again,if you want keep you rank,bastard!!!!" the commanding officer punched Tiornu in cheek as a drunken father would to his son for getting into trouble at school or setting a fishing boat on fire.Tironu backed off in shock with a timid "yes,sir.".As the captain turned back to his duties, Lt. Mustnag whispered to the frightened XO "When we pull into port,my dad can have that son of a bitch court martialed.".Simpson muttered "I heard that." as the 12-16 inch 50 caliber guns boomed their defiance,vain.
USS. New Mexico, flagship of Commodore Dan Mitsuo
Dan glared out at the battle in the air that was affecting his ship's functioning ability. The flaming wreck of Marblehead and damage to Detroit and Saratoga proved that."Damn not-so early warning system destroyers." he whispered.Dan had started out from Annapolis on board a tin-can, a four-stacker named USS. Farragut.The ship was old, ill-suited for combat, rusty, hot and not to mention cramped and had a nasty tumble and roll routine that made the lietuanat(having been promoted from the destruction of U-666 while he was on the gunboat USS.FireBolt) reiniforce his theroy of why sometimes a boat is'nt so cozy,besides the stuff that reminded him of the school's idea of spaghetti and tunafish with a side of sauerkraut or sauercrab and s--- he got spanked for saying.
But,then he remebered when his father was killed a small army war when Spain tried to take back Florida.Though USS.Arizona,Pennslyvania,California,Maryland and Idaho shorebombarded a enemy postition.USS.Farragut was engaged with two Finnish torpedo boats when they were cruising near their coast for only God and CinCLANT knew why. Though Farragut took 5 torpedoes, Dan still managed to sink the enemy with a casemate gun.This resulted in his promotion to commander and being on the USS. Texas and the cruise to 1940 when Jean Bart and Reichealu engaged her,their captains thinking it was the infamous HMS Warspite.The New York-class battleship did well against them,sinking Reichelau and badly damaging Jean Bart,making it easy for USS.Massachusetts to blow the ex-french battleship out of the water,literally.Dan was promoted again to captain and put in command of Texas again and successfully engaging the pocket-battleships Deustchland and Scheer,sinking the latter diminished Hitler and his hun's moraal.Alas,Texas was nearly pulverised by small,yet accurate 11-inch fire and Dan was put in command of the new battleship USS. South Dakota which would be his babtisim of fire.Barbarossa,Tirpitz,Gneseniau and Lutzow had intercepted what they though was the CVBG containing USS.Ranger,but actually a convoy with an escort carrier.His ship was the only thing keeping the prescious convoy from the s.o.b.s known as nazis or shit-heads.Tirpitz's 15 inch shells managed to break through his ship's armor belt and do an ala HMS Hood and USS. New York,except,the captain survived an had to suffer through the agonizing pain of watching his ship and the others go down in the atlantic until the numbness overcame him,then he was vomiting on the deck of HMS Barham,then finding himself adrift again when the germ carrier Graf Zepplein torpedoed his ride home.The crew of the destroyer Z-18 found him but, he dived back in and was found by the coast guard cutter Ingham and was taken back to the states."I've had a hellova a life."he said in his mind."Yet,I have'nt seen my gal since before D-Day.".Then,his thoughts were interupted by a the screaming he wished would go away.A radio operator pulled his headphones down and asked a simple snetence with his last breathes."Sir,did you here something?".Then,it happened.A 16 inch shell slammed through the conning tower.The commodore was saved the chair falling down the stairs.His head bammed against the steel wall,giving the japanese-american a concussion,a migraine and an excuse to say a couple of four letter words.The captain lifted up his younger cousin and asked him

"Oh,yeah I'm peachy king.Damnit,I'm not okay!!!!!What the @$%£! gave you the idea I'm @$%£!ing okay???!?!?!Status report!!!!".
Brad stammered."Well, we've been hit by 16 inch shells from the USS. Ohio.It seems we've got another civil war."he joked."Damnit Abe!!!!This is'nt PG-87!!!!"he screamed while the captain escorted Dan to the superstructure."Sir,should I contact Capt.Simpson to cease firing?" an ensign asked his captain."Yes!!!It would be nice for Abe to stop firing at us.Get on the radio!!!"
"Sir,the radio was destroyed along with radar and damaging fire control.".
"Well,use morse code or visual signals.Just tell him to stop!!!!"
The captain turned back the Dan as he was having his arm put in a sleign."Captain,what's the status of my flagship?"."Turret II has been put out of action by friendly fire and our guns can't really get a good mark on the enemy aircraft,sir.Our speed is starting to reduce."
"What is our present speed?" "16 knots, it's reducing by one knot every 30 minutes,sir.Should we counter-flood,commodore?".Dan remebered when he was on his tin-can and he over heard the captain ordering to counter-flood just when two more 'fish' tore into her and ship started going down."Is it safe?" "Yes,sir." "Go ahead with it.Also, signal Tennessee and Iowa to reform abeam us and order Washington form up beside us in case we need to abandon ship." "Yes,sir." Brad said then headed to the outskirts of the bridge.Although it was a normal thing to have a newer,faster ship come along if an older,slower vessel was in danger of sinking,but he did'nt want to think of New Mexico going down like his other command, USS. Massachusetts.No,Duke n. Nukem(The Duke was his nickname,from a new John Wayne movie,with the 'Duke' as the New Mexico's former commander.)'s ship won't sink.Mamie was a freak accident.I could'nt happen again,could it?
After all, Brad had been born on Friday the 13th when Dan's dad was killed and it was a day after his birthday,that Mamie was blown up the twins in the faeroes.nah.
Lt.Cmdr.Cody Wilson's F-4U Corsair fighter-bomber
Cody climbed his multi-breed plane out of a 'Zeke's machine guns.A Hell-cat dived down out of the clouds and sprayed the Zero with with fire.Yet, the strange Zero ,with swept-back wings and guns in the wings,climbed and riddled the fighter with rapid-firing.The 'Armchair Aviator' ,as he was affectioniately called, banked to port and starboard and dived down,anything to get the nip off his tail!!!!!USS.Maryland fired her anti-aircraft guns at newly designed plane and only after exhusting 10 clips,did it come diving down right the USS.Ticonderoga!!!!!!!The Essex-class aircraft carrier was getting her fully loaded with bombs,torpedoes and fuel,when a screaming sound was heard.It was joined in by 3 more planes and men on the flight deck.Then it happened.The first slammed full head on with the island,killing everyone on the bridge.The second missed the carrier entirely, but the bomb caruomed with two torpedo planes and exploded.The third was the killing blow.The midships elevator was going down with a Hell-diver when the Judy's wing ripped into its fuel tank and exploded.The plane went through parked planes and speeded towards the fuel room while technicians looked at the limp Japanese pilot that was gonna ruin their day.

Commander Jeremy Torre pointer out at The Ticonderoga and her sister USS.Valley Forge when the 3rd plane had dissepeared.Then....

Ticonderoga was gone and Valley Forge was being rained on by shrapnel,making casualties worse.
The radar technician turned in his seat to face his commanding officer."Sir,you want beleive this,but I've got a helluva a lot of contacts on my scope." Torre gave the younger man a stern look worthy of his father."Verife, ensign."
"Sir,I've got 4 cruisers and 18 destroyers on radar and they're closing fast!!!!I'm reading missile launches from them!!!!" "Radio!!!!Get on the horn to the New Mexico!!!!Warn them of the situation!!!!" "I can't,sir.They're radio ain't working,sir."the teen from Alabama responded to Torre."Well,radio Washington and tell them to signal New Mexico!!!!" "Aye,aye,sir."

Dan hit the deck,litterally,as a another bomb hit his flagship, reducing Turret II to more scrap."Sir,if you're done hugging the floor would you like to hear what USS.Washington just signaled to us???" "Duh." "You don't have to speak Russian." "Just tell me." "Cmdr. Torre on the Iowa has sent us a message that USS.Ticonderoga just exploded.Also, we've gotten 22 contacts heading towards us, four of them are heavy or armored cruisers,sir." "You know,when my grandpa came home from WWI,he told me, almost certainly, you never hear the shell or bomb that's gonna get ya." "I heard that too." "You know,actually,the radio operator in the conning tower heard it but the bomb got him." "Do you hear something?".At that instant, the two cousins looked up at a screaming dive bomber heading towards the bridge!!!!!
