Lauren Lee Smith was born in Vancouver, Canada on 19th June 1980. As the stepdaughter of a documentary filmmaker, Lauren had traveled round the world with her family. While in Los Angeles, she was spotted by a fashion scout and at the age of 14, she began her career in modeling. She first began her acting career at 19, when she starred in Get Carter also starring actor Sylvester Stallone.
Lauren is great at many different sports and activities such as snow boarding, ice skating, rollerblading, basketball, swimming and horseback riding.
She had also been to acting class with co-actor Forbes March at the age of 12 and 13.
